May I return a piece of artwork if it does not meet my expectations?
We want you to love your new art, so if a piece doesn't quite work in your space we offer a seven-day money back guarantee on all artwork. Return any piece within seven days of receiving your order and we'll issue you a refund on the price of the art, minus a 15% restocking fee. You must use the original packaging for return shipping. At this time, there are no returns on special orders or artwork that is altered at the request of the customer.

How do I return a piece of artwork?

How much does shipping cost within the United States? 

We offer free shipping to any location in the United States on every piece of art except oversized items, designated as artwork larger than 3 feet by 4 feet. Please contact us for shipping arrangements on large items; call toll-free (877) 536-6335 or email info@fineartmart.net.

Do you ship internationally?

Special arrangements must be made for international shipments. Please email us, info@fineartmart.net, to discuss these details.

How do you ship artwork?
All artwork is packaged in custom art boxes to ensure safe delivery. Our boxes are lined with high density foam to protect your art. The foam construction also makes unpackaging quick and easy - no packing peanuts, no mess. We send art via FedEx, UPS, and other common carriers. All artwork is shipped fully insured.

Once I purchase a piece of art, how many days will it take to arrive?
Artwork is typically shipped within seven to 10 business days. Once your artwork is shipped, please allow three to six additional business days for arrival. You will receive an email with a tracking number so that you can see exactly when your art will arrive. If you need artwork delivered on a tight deadline, please contact us before placing your order at info@fineartmart.net so that we can arrange expedited shipping.

What should I do if I receive a damaged piece of art?
If you receive a damaged piece of art, contact us within 24 hours at info@fineartmart.net or 877-536-6335. Please save the box and all packaging material; we must have these items in order to process the claim.

How is artwork chosen for the Fine Art Mart?
Our curators are art business professionals who select the highest quality work for exhibition.

What are the different mediums used in the paintings?
Mixed media
Mixed media combines more than one visual art medium. For instance, paint plus ink, or a collage using fiber or other materials.
Watercolor
Remember that tin of paint you got as a kid? Some people really knew what to do with them! Watercolors are usually transparent (just pigment and water) and appear almost luminous. Watercolor paintings usually are framed with a glass covering in order to protect the painting's surface.
Pastel
Pastels are sticks of colors, pure color with a binding agent. There are “dry pastels” and “oil pastels” and the artists have to be diligent about making sure the art will last forever. Even though “pastel” as an adjective can mean light-colored or pale, pastel paintings are usually vibrant and rich. Pastel paintings usually are framed with a glass covering in order to protect the painting's surface.
Oil
Pigments are blended with various oils that include poppyseed oil to linseed oil. An artist may use several different oils, which will show up in different sheens in the finished work.
Acrylic
Acrylic paint is synthetic and water soluble — until it dries. Depending on how much the artist dilutes it, the painting might resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or it may be in a class of its own.

How do I search for and purchase art at Fine Art Mart?
At the top of every page, you will find a keyword search bar and menu links organized by artist, color, medium and size. You can either type a category into the keyword search bar or click on the menu links to find art listed in that grouping. To purchase a piece of art, simply click the "Add to Cart" button at the right of the piece and follow the onscreen directions.

What forms of payment do you accept?
The Fine Art Mart accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks and money orders.

Will I be charged tax?
If the piece is shipped within the state of Michigan, the state sales tax of 6% will be charged. Pieces shipped outside the state of Michigan will not be taxed.

May I speak with the artists represented by Fine Art Mart?
The Fine Art Mart does not provide contact info for the artists on our site, however if you wish to speak directly with an artist you may contact us at info@fineartmart.net and we will pass your comment or question on to the artist.

Does the Fine Art Mart have a physical gallery location?
We are affilliated with Twisted Fish Gallery, which has been in business for 15 years. Our address is
